Local Churches Band Together Honor Victims of October 7 with 1200 Flag Initiative

Kempner, TX -- In a heartfelt show of solidarity, One Church Cove and other local churches are joining forces with churches across the nation to display Israeli flags across the nation, commemorating the tragic events of October 7, 2023. This powerful initiative honors the 1,200 victims of that day and the brave soldiers who defended Israel, reminding us that these attacks were assaults not just on a nation but on our shared faith and community.

"While we are having a public display and ceremony," says Brian Parker, Senior Pastor of One Church Cove," we also invite Americans who stand with Israel to individually purchase and display an Israeli flag at their homes this weekend as a symbol of support." 

1200 flags will be set up and prominently displayed in front of the Kempner Family Community Development Center, located at 466 FM 2808 in Kempner, TX, starting at 2:00 PM. A public ceremony will follow the setup to express our unwavering support for our partner nation. The display will remain open for viewing until Wednesday.
